We Brits arrived at Bangkok airport around 9am, wondering how we were going to get through another day without crashing out…particularly since the day turned out to be so eventful.
We hardly had time to recover from the flight before we found ourselves making yet more introductions - to the other half of our volunteer group: [...]
so there’s been this entwining of people and experiences here. going out with friends i’ve managed to make a lot of good contacts and have met some great people and have been able to share some of the circumstances i find myself in. a.k.a discontentment with the patient load/work arrangements. somehow one person led me [...]
Well friday was my first meeting in swahlli. It was nice to meet the friends. Most of them speak English.
Kyran was really worried that i would get bored because i dont know much of the language, but i told him that after being in the Lao group for a while that this was [...]

There I was on Lima, on my own, still travelling, but no longer on honeymoon. So this is the new blog (or new trip on the same blog, to use the terminology of this website): leaner, meaner, and less likely to keep me as busy as a part time job. At least that is the [...]
Got sto see some of the Capital. Frank took me to Parliment House for a tour and showed me where the Embassy are. We also went to the War Memorial. It was quite the exhibition, remined me of part of the Smithsonian Museums. (I will post some pics later).
Got to the Airport in plenty of [...]
